1. Information we collect

When you open an account we collect the details you give us: your name, date of birth, nationality, address, email address, telephone number, occupation and identity documents used to verify you.

As you use the bank we also record account activity — balances, transfers, card usage, bill payments, savings and loan records, support messages and the device and network details of your sign-ins.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate your accounts, process payments, verify your identity, detect and prevent fraud, meet our legal and regulatory duties, answer your support requests and improve the service.

We may contact you about your accounts, security matters and changes to our terms. Marketing messages are only sent where you have agreed, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time.

3. Lawful basis

We process your information to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations such as anti-money-laundering rules, to protect our legitimate interests in running a safe bank, and on the basis of your consent where consent is required.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with parties who help us deliver the service — payment networks, card issuers, identity verification providers and secure technology suppliers — and with regulators, law enforcement or courts where the law requires it.

Everyone we share information with is bound to protect it and may use it only for the purpose we specify.

5. Security

Your information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Outgoing transfers require a one-time code, staff access to client records is restricted by role, and every staff action on an account is written to an audit trail that cannot be altered.

You are responsible for keeping your password, transaction PIN and one-time codes private. We will never ask you for them by phone, email or message.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account records for as long as you bank with us and afterwards for the period required by financial regulation — normally at least five years from the closure of the relationship.

7. Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, object to certain processing, or ask us to transfer it to another provider.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within one month.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect your session, and a small number of cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though the bank will not function correctly without the necessary ones.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will publish the new version on this page and, where the change is significant, tell you directly.
